Planning series: follow-up

This one-day event was a follow-up session for delegates who attended any of the sessions in the NCA/HLF Planning Training Series at the British Library 9-12 May 06.

Course Objectives were:

  • To allow participants to consider their progress over the last six months through recapping on the planning required for larger HLF grants
  • To enable participants to share experiences of the planning process
  • To provide participants with more detailed information and advice to complete the HLF 'Heritage Grants' application form

Presentations included:

'Influencing parent organisations and sponsors in a project environment' by John Faulkes, Public Sector Providers

'Using PRINCE 2' by Gary Tuson, Glamorgan Record Office

'Using Consultants' by Judy Aitken, Heritage Lottery Fund
