The group provides a forum for organisations to share their experiences, knowledge and plans via an email list and through sharing documentation. In addition the group aims to meet a couple of times a year to discuss the progress of projects and explore common issues.
If you are planning a large-scale project, or are willing to contribute your own experience of managing a capital project involving archive provision, then you may be interested in this group. Many of these organisations have received, or are seeking lottery funding to support their projects, but this is not a requirement of membership.
The next meeting of the group will take place on 2nd June 2010 at Hull History Centre.
